I hear you chuck. I think I'm gonna miss out on the SBG fantasy leaf blade for just that reason.

not only that but Sonny comes in here and listens to what we want and the GIVES it to us in short order. how do you think the new Falchion came about? how's THAT for a cool thing? WE asked for it and he made it happen for us. Hopefully he is listening now MALATESTA I want one bad Yea, its too bad that got canceled; but I want to hear about the LIONHEART - I can't find any references to it on the VA site. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, whatever- anyone know what this sword is about or modeled after?

What was the Passau is now the redesigned War Sword. All will slide into the Performance line. The standard line swords will phase out as they are redesigned with only a few lingering.

That's great, Sonny...Lionheart? What's that? I'm assuming you're not referring to the VA Standard lineup Lionheart, right?

It will look similar but the fitting will be re imagined by Christian and it will be built on a Gus Trim Blade.
Others like the new Bastard will look nothing like the Standard line Bastard.

This is absolutely rediculous! How am I supposed to buy all of these wonderful yet-to-be swords? I guess I will have to drop out of school and get a job or rob a gas station.

Other than the SBG Bastard I ordered last night, all of my new sword buys this year will probably be Valiant.
So keep 'em rolling out and give us lots of photos and stuff....

AHahahahahaaha! I love that phrase. You can say ANYTHING ridiculous and inappropriate and somehow diffuse it back to being within the lines of social decorum by adding "I'm just sayin." Well, actually you can't, but what makes it funny is the notion that you appear to utterly believe you can. I'm shivering chihuahua excited for these new offerings from VA.

Ugh, I'm envious...I knew I should've waited before pulling the trigger on that other one.

I just figured that since he was talkin about robbing gas stations and all, I'd be a helpful forumite and offer some alternatives The new stuff from VA is going to be on the must have list for sure. I got my Kreig and was seriously impressed with the quality, so I am eagerly awaiting the new VA offerings as well. Sounds like a complete revamp with more new stuff to punish my savings account!

Holy, I just looked at a picture of an Atrim Tactical for the first time (http://forums.swordforum.com/showthread.php?t=79919) and am in love. It absolutely breathes functional modern, while having hybrid jian/longsword looks. Doubtlessly functional like all of Gus' stuff, and would allow for lots of customization, including relative simple woodworking to replace the handle slats if one chooses. And a VA version with a nice price? Count me in!

I know you're probably be silly but just in case...Stay in school for the love of God! In 5-10 years from now, when you have a good job and you can afford more swords, you'll thank me Ancalagon
