i've considered leatherman tools, but that would draw too much attention where i live(in southern california, half the people would think it's a gun, a fourth would think a knife, and the other fourth would not care what it is but still not like it/be scared of it.) Assuming you meant keep it on my belt. i thought i would just buy one(the credit card tool) and stick it in my wallet in case i needed a screwdriver or if i needed to cut something small. I'm spoiled with living in an area where carrying things such as multi-tools and hunting knives openly is actually pretty common. Heck, It's pretty common here in small town Kansas to see rifles in racks in the rear windows of pickup trucks. I know of no state laws against open carry of sheath knives, and have done so numerous times in the past. I haven't checked lately, but it used to be perfectly legal to carry a holstered sidearm in plain sight. I used to always carry a Ruger .357 in a side holster whenever I went fishing or hunting. Concealed carry was illegal until a few years ago, but is now ok by permit. Folding knives are limited to under 4" length, and auto open blades are illegal. (note, my statistics on Kansas law are from memory, and may be out of date)
