I like it a lot. The color of the grip just stands out to me. I would probably want a darker color for the grip, but I love everything else.

Very nice job, now what work will you do on the scabbard?

Luka, Please don't take this as an insult or demeaning in any way. But something looks a bit off to me. Maybe just a trick of the lighting or photo? But either the pommel looks too small in diameter, or the grip looks too fat near the guard. It could just be the lack of risers, maybe? I can't exactly put my finger on it. But something looks out-of-place... However, it does certainly look like a nicely designed combination of blade, guard and pommel. Looks like it would be powerful. How does it handle?

Agreed, but i think it might be the grip.

Very nice job, now what work will you do on the scabbard? Thanks! This is a picture with scabbard and previous fittings on this same blade. The other sword is semi customized DT2130. The scabbards are nothing special, simple wood core, leather and steel throat and chape. Btw, the leather isn't that pink like in the pictures, It's much more pleasant red.

I agree, the pommel is a bit small and the grip a bit fat, but Alojz is not very experienced in sword making, he is more knife and gun maker, with a few occasional swords or sabers so some minor offs are to be expected. I don't have new stats but I am quite sure they are very similar to old ones which were 1.75kg, 122.5cm with 99.5cm blade. New stats would probably be just a bit less weight, not very noticeable. Handling is not very quick or agile because of quite high weight and lack of distal taper typical for Del Tin. This is definitely more two hander than hand&a half but I can still cut light targets like 2l carton tetra-packs one handed and leave the bottom standing. For plastic targets two hands are a must. P.S. Next weekend I'll have a custom baskethilt on a Windlass Granson blade by him and I'll post pictures of it too. The best thing about Alojz is that waiting list is from short to non existent and his prices are very low although he is quite an artist with knifes and guns so they make most of his commissions.

If it doesn't look as pink as it does in the photographs then I like it even more.

The grip is wide, how fat or round is it? Is it oval shaped, do you find edge alignment to be quick and easy? The width of the grip is what jars the overall picture- what Mike was getting at, I think. That, and the guard, while nicely done, seems a bit chunky as well.
To me, it looks to be a formidable, though utilitarian, long sword. Question is, what do you think of it? How much did it set you back, the customization aspect? If I may ask, of course.

THe grip is oval and I don't have any problems with edge alignment. The guard is a bit massive, true. All in all, this is a work with some minor defects, but they are purely visual. Sword handles well enough, I love its look, I don't have problems with mentioned defects although I am aware of them. They just don't bother me enough to complain. So I am really glad I did this with the sword. Chenessfan, I see what you mean, I agree that old look might be considered more elegant and beautiful, but I like this new look much more because of some strange personal connection with me and that design since I first saw it. I just like simple, geometric, brutal beauty of it.

it would have been way cooler if the red was brighter and the blade had "Hello Kitty" etched into it

Here are some worse pictures of it but they show more realistic grip color:
