Ok, heres a question. I've finally got everything scheduled to do another "how to" vid on throwing axes. It'll still be a few weeks, but I've been doing dry runs on the time/length of the video. So, what I can do is 2 or 3 10 minute videos for youtube. My question is, what should I do them on?
I can do one on throwing a heavy bowie, or one on throwing ambidextrous, or one on a knife/axe combo, or 2-3 at one time, or hitting 2 different targets at the same time, or 30' from the target, or well, you get the idea.
So, before I get started on it, I figured I'd ask what's the next one most would like to see. And, I'm also open to suggestions.

Well, you may be giving away your preference just by calling this thread "Next axe throwing video?" but I'll chip in two tiyn (the tiyn was the kopeck, or penny, of Kazakhstan after the Soviet Union fell apart, but they don't even mint them anymore) and vote for the Bowie!

I'd say Bowie and Distance Throwing are my favorites.

Well, since I've done a couple of axe vids, and I have a throwing bowie on order from coal creek forge, I'll do one on knives. I'm still up in the air about the other one, though.

I'd vote for Bowie also. Unless you've got a two hander lying around!

I'd like to see you throw from 30' out, that would be something to see especially if you can hit consistently.

Ok, I was down at the target earlier, and paced off for a double rotation. For a DR it is 25" from the target with an 18" handle. Or if I do it on the seven pace method its 30". If I go back to triple rotation it's around 35-36". To start with, I think I'll do one on double rotation , then go back to thirty with backwards axe throw. That'll be one video. The other I'll do one heavy knives and show how to do throw an axe/knife combo. It'll be around the first of nov. when all this comes together, so bear with me.
I'll get to the trickier throws at some point, but for now I think videos on the basics is more beneficial.

So, the weather hasn't been cooperating lately, but if all goes good, this'll be shot tomorrow. Depending on the editting, should get it up tomorrow night or early sunday. If all goes well, that is.

Got the video shot today, working on the editing now. I decided to do one on throwing knives and tomahawks, with more focus on the knives. I can already say alot of stuff will be lost in the edit, but we were in a rush. I'll answer any questions anyone has about it, and apologize for the lack of tutorial. I hoped most have seen my earlier vids and will understand the terms I use. Video will be up soon.
