I belive it's a windlass offering if I'm not mistaken? seem to remember seeing that in an old AC catelogue...

Oops...sorry I let this one slip for a couple days, shiloh. I've seen that sword on many sites, I just couldn't place the name with the face, so to speak. I obviously don't have personal experience with that model, but given the experience I've had thus far with my Windlass 1860 saber, I'd say it's definitely worth a shot. Sabers and other military swords seem to be something that Windlass does particularly well.

Yes, I agree, I've had great experience with my Patton sabre.
Actually, I'm thinking about getting this for my grandpa, the original sword enthusiast in my family. He taught fencing to both my dad and me. He just had triple bypass surgery, and I thought this would make a nice get-well gift.
I think I'll give it a try!
