Now here's a rapier I've always wanted. Simple, Simple, Simple, but elegant. www.yourprops.com/view_item.php?movie_prop=1168It's a bit tough to tell, but there are side rings on the guard that make this a bit more "bold" than the picture indicates. And yea, I'd take this over the "other" sword from that movie. I wish someone made a functional version that looked like this...

Ooh, that does look really nice, and I'm not normally a big fan of rapiers. Do you know if they make any decent replicas of it?

I like the look of this one at the moment; www.museumreplicas.com/p-1031-spanish-bilbo-cut-thrust.aspxthe nice thing about windlass is that predictably it will come down in price and by that time at least one person will have reviewed it. As it stands the cut and thrust sword is rather underepresented and under appreciated, hopefully windlass will start releasing a few more of this type of sword.

I agree that Cut & Trust swords are very much under-represented. I would like to see a wider variety of offerings.
