My wife has decided that if I'm going to have a sword & main gauche for my garb, then she needs a bodice dagger! Well, Ijust ordered this one for her: Could this be the beginnings of an Arms Race? ;D

Caught yourself a good one, you lucky dog, you.
Not a bad dagger, that one. A while back I bought my mother a cheap replica of an ols seamstress' scissors/bodice dagger. Hanwei had a replica for $150, which mother would have killed me for spending, but I found a knock-off for $15 that would have managed the scissor part, at least...something to show off on her desk, anyway. To this day they sit in a drawer in the kitchen. Glad I didn't get the Hanweis after all,
If memory serves...yours is a windlass?

Your wife wouldn't happen to have a sister in her early 20's, would she?

A bodice dagger eh? No doubt, as a good husband, you have offered to help her put it on before heading out and about.... and taking it off when you get home? ;D

Thought I recognized it. Reason I asked was mostly for the edge factor...did you order it sharp or do you plan to sharpen it yourself? Will you keep it blunt?

KoA doesn't offer a sharpening option on that blade - at least I did not see such an option when I purchased it. I have no problem wth sharpening it, if that is what she wants. Somehow, I doubt she will be wanting anything sharp around that particular bit of territory...

Your wife wouldn't happen to have a sister in her early 20's, would she? She has three sisters- all younger. I wouldn't trade her for all three of the others, even if I could have all three of them at once! She's definitely the pick of the litter.

And so it begins...
Mr. Gear - it shan't be long before the Missus is requesting her own swords as well. My wife has already made it clear that if I can have swords, she wants them as well.
You gotta love it!

You gotta love it! I dont mind her having swords and daggers at all. At least then she has to be within reach to use them on me....
