Almost bought a john Barnett sword at the Royal Armories in Leeds a couple of weeks back, It was a nice looking Viking sword priced at 90.00 GBP, I just wasn't sure. here's a link to some Barnett swords; www.blades-uk.com/view_items.php?cat_id=157 Also, do any of you chaps know anything about John Gill singh swords? I've noticed that the picture they use to advertise their Hoplite sword is identical to that used by Windlass, are they the same thing? I must say that my bullsemprini detector "pinged" when they described the chakma and karda analogues supplied with their frankly naff looking khukri as "eating knives" . Worth bothering with or not?

Hi I did get to handle a few kast week, the Roman Gladius and the Basket Hilt were very nicely put together, if you want to cut with it try a company which you know make good cutters like Generation 2.
