Month long grounding for COCO PUFFS?!?!?! Someone give this guy a book about how the REAL world works. It sounds like he's in lala land to me. Sorry to hear about your situation, MP. I'm 15 and not much better off, but at least I have less time to wait. ;D Just 3 little ol' years. -Slayer

Jeeeeez, you two sound like a couple of convicts waiting for release.......
Well above all just remember, parents almost always have what they think is best for you in their hearts. Even though it may not seem like it sometimes.

Yeah... My parents rock. ;D Still, it requires a 3 hour discussion/argument every time I want to buy a bladed weapon. However, you are most certainly correct. Parents are usually the good guys in life. The coco puffs thing was just a *LITTLE* bit extreme, though. ;D LOL. -Slayer

It took years of daily conditioning until I could buy a knife, and then only weeks later I was in the ER paying for stitches. Who could've predicted that? Oh, to be young again......and still have sensation in three fingers.

I still have to hide all my new purchase and UPS box from mom or else I will have to hear this over and over again "How many (guns/knives/swords ) do you need?" or "Didn't the army give you enough gun already ?" Ah ,parents and weapons they are never mixed

My dad is complicated, he likes cats very much, and is funny, is a good cook, and has certain things that he hates, like the possibility of people becoming fat, hence the month long grounding when he discovered coco puffs in my room. He's also NOT macho, he's tall though. 6 foot 5, and 195 lbs. Its best not to fight it, I'm only four years away Heh... My dad was a nutcase... I moved out when I was late 12 early 13... lived in a park for 6-8 months... then rented a couch, then a room... at 15 I had my own appartment. Still, it was HARD. 2 jobs and school at that age... you want your freedom, you gotta PAY for it.
