Anybody see the Subotai sword from Scorpion yet

He mentioned having one comming out in his Ares Xiphos thread that he did for a customer so i check his page every few days and it's there this morning.Wow nice copy of a movie sword I havent seen anybody do.
Since I bought the Achiles sword I like his pointy things but the Subotai sword is just to cool.

Gotta be something about those Conan swords even the Atlantion was out of hand at a bit over 8 lbs.The Subotai seems to have enough room for two handed use so 4 lbs isnt bad for two hands but even being heavy the balance of the sword would be the deceiding factor on how it handles.I get the feeling it dosent have a distel taper (I may be wrong) but that would probably cut the weight down a bit.

If you really like the warlord sword as some people did,I believe Chris could make it longer now,I'm pretty sure last time i emailed him (I dig the Subotai sword) he said he is working with longer pieces of stock now.Chris you around to answer this?

Oh man...with a 30" blade and 8" grip it'd be beast like. I don't like his scabbards- though I expect they'll get better as time goes by.

Hey guys, Yes I do longer swords now. My forge that I made is 6 foot long, and I can get longer steel now. I'm movin up in the world boys ;D So if anybody is interested in something long and sharp just give me a holler. The warlord sword can be made much longer now. More like the movie. Chris
