Perhaps this could answer any ones thoughts regarding Hanwei Dadao. I have had no handle loosening nor any rattle. The blemishes on the blade buffed right out with gun oil and paper towels. I would recon the ring to be welded (although I have not confirmed that), but the tang appears to be full (have not confirmed that either). Regardless of the way it is put together, it sounds, feels, and handles sturdy. I would take it into battle. you can use it one handed. i am barely swinging with one hand holding camera with other hand.
