picasaweb.google.com/JordanMAbernethy/MySword#OA-72 1/4 Blade length-53 3/4 Hilt-18 ½ Grip-14 Ricasso-8 1/4 Sharpened edge-43 1/4 Guard width-18 Width at lugs-5 ½ Blade width at hilt-1 7/8 Blade width under lugs-2 3/8 Blade thickness at hilt 5/16 Blade thickness at tip-1/8 Blade material-203E/W2 Guard/pommel-5160H 8 lbs on the dot This certainly was not under $300, but I wanted to share it cause I know there are Odinblades fans over here! Please let me know what you think. This is by far the greatest sword Ive ever seen/owned/handled! I don't really know how I'll follow this up, it seems down hill from here. If you want a truly well made sword look no further than John Lundemo of Odinblades. For my review on the sword my I offer a link to: www.myarmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=17242Thank you for viewing

I don't favor swords that large, but I still think they are very interesting. Mr. Lundemo is an expert smith indeed.

Welcome to SBG!!! What a big, beautiful hunk of killing steel!!!!!!! Its beyond awesome, I love it... I'm a shade of bright green with envy. Have a +1 for being the owner of such an amazingly stupid bad-$emprini monster sword.

that's the biggest, meanest piece of pattern steel I've ever seen amazing! (and I usually don't like zweihanders!)

I believe that I speak for all of SBG when I say that we feel very honored to have someone as legendary as John Lundemo speak highly of our humble community. I hope that some day I will be the owner of one of his superb swords.

I LOVE ZWEIHANDERS they are my second favourite kind of sword my first being short swords (ironic combo) I'm the same way tho... my first prefrence is for shortswords, and then second I love two handed swords and greatswords. I don't tend to like normal sized single handed swords... so I guess I'm alla bout extremes.

If you have to ask you can't afford it. But really no one is going to tell you the price of a custom piece. It's bad ettiquette, and impolite to both the maker and the purchaser. Ask the maker for a quote if you'd like a piece made. I'd like to know too but I will use my imagination, and just be glad for Mr Abernethy to be able to own such a spectacular piece.

I asked for price range. Such as $2000-$4000 etc. Also you don't know me so you don't know what I can or can not afford. It's bad ettiquette, and impolite to make such assumptions. I would think with you being a vendor/manufacturer you would be more careful about making such a comment to a potential customer in such a way. I might have been your next ten grand custom job. In all seriousness I like your work and may inquire on a custom piece in near future.
