EDIT: Looks like this one is a bit more expensive than I would have liked: valiant-armoury.com/catalog/txt_JL601.htmlI just saw a photo of this sword on Valiant Armoury's website. Is it supposed to be an interpretation of Lan's sword from the WOT series?

Hmm, regardless, this sword is what will come to mind when reading the books from now on.

Personally I think his other warder swords are more interesting than the VA one, I just feel that it is overdone and a little garish compared to John's other swords. Don't get me wrong, it is a fantastic looking piece. Here are two of John's other warders which are more to my taste;

I cant decide which one I like more, but I will probably purchase the VA model when it becomes available.

I like the pierced pommel warder the most its glorious but I suspect the VA one may be more affordable and thus more for me maybe we shall see

The difference in price between the VA which is a Lundemo design versus one from Odinblades direct which is Lundemo-made is quite broad. I think it is the best option out there if you want a Warder, but don't have Lundemo money to get one from Odinblades.

yeah I assume the VA one will likely have a similar price point to the signature line , but damn an odin blades one would be special

I would prefer the pierced pommel over all of the versions, as far as looks. Second would be the VA model, so I can happily settle for it.

Here are two of John's other warders which are more to my taste; The bottom photo has always been my favorite Warder, by far. the sharpened back-edge of the top photo really never took with me and the new one for production isn't really my style, although the craftsmanship on both is top-notch, as usual.

Right now I'm in the process of making a Warder type sword (warderesque) it will have a ton of leaves etched down the blade and a habaki, also the guard will have the S shape like the Venitian saber in my website and the pommel will have a Jian style. Also 4 different longswords some with etchings and one is damascus. I have to make the Connery sword from The wind and the Lion, not exact thank God. A very fun one I'm doing right now is a version of the Ringare sword from my website. This one will have etching on blade and leather grip. After this batch of customs it's "Slice city" Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

John,
Sounds like you've got some really cool stuff coming out soon. Did you finish the saber that you posted "in the rough"? I really liked that one and would love to see the finished product.
