Well I have one review up for the Jin Shi Xin Jian. I am proceding to do another tomorrow of the Ox Tail Dao and I have a review for the Hanwei Tiger coming up in a another week. I have officially caught the fever. Sword Fever. I have a two different swords I want to buy next but I can't decide which to get so I am going to get which ever one you guys want to see reviewed. They are the Typhoon Ginunting and the Typhoon Dahong Palay They both cost the same; $195 plus plus shipping from the Philippines. So what do you guys say? Which one do you want to see? I will be posting a review for the Jin-Shi Dao tomorrow night. I got it this evening and I went ahead and gave it to my girlfriend since we both do Tai Chi together. I need to go back in the morning and take some pictures and a video first.

I would love to see all review. I considering making a review of a 1095 TH Han dynasty jian from Jin-Shi after receiving it (still waiting for it ). The Typhoon swords looks very awesome. If do manage to make a full review on all these swords, you might earn yourself a place as VIP reviewer.

Where are the typhoon weapons from, got a linky??
Personally I'd love a Jin Shi Custom, although that dahong palay looks great, amazing price, would love to know stats.

Ok I changed my mind, go for the 21" ginunting, with a lightweight like that it should be extremely fast in the hand, the curvature of the handle is also extremely accurate to the Filipino Special Forces Ginunting. I don't like the parkerization but that is a personal opinion. For $195 I don't think you will find a comparable product from the look and description, great! Thanks for adding yet more blades to my already ridiculously long list.

I voted for the Palay, but I wish I could change my vote to the gin-whateveritis, lol. I'm not a big fan of the ginunting's blade shape, but if you review that and find it to be a good sword, I'd be likely to get the Palay and review it myself. That way both swords would be reviewed, AND I'd get some review points . If I do buy one of these one day, it would be the Palay, though. Just food for thought, as I don't think that you can really go wrong there. -Slayer

I voted Ginunting just to see a review on something different. As much as I love drooling over Jin-Shi products and am trying to save for my own Jin-Shi custom, I'll wait to pony up the cash get my own sword and do my own review. To quote the old Arby's commercial "Different is Good."

Well, I voted for the palay but I want to change it to the ginunting, so it's actually 6 to 9, not 7 to 8. In fact, I think BW did the same thing, right? -Slayer

Ginunting!
I will place an order for one of these right handed with a 21" blade. When it gets here expect a review with lots of pictures!

If I could, I would vote twice for the ginunting. I think that should count as two people! ;D

He is getting the ginunting, where's the hard part to understand?
Negative, I don't vote straight away, I don't vote until I am ready to post my opinion, I voted ginunting, might end up with one of those myself at some point, though the palay is more my type of blade. Then again, I'd probably be more tempted by a traditional filipino weapon blade.
