Am I the only one who thinks that the hilt on the new Windlass "Necromancer" here looks kinda like a squid? I'm kinda tempted to get it and glue some googly eyes on the guard. |

Wouldn't it have to have 8 blades then?  Also, necromancer. necro = dead mancer = prophesizer. What on this sword makes the connection to someone who raises dead spirits? Cuz its black?  |

Hehe, he was just talking about the hilt of the sword. I guess they just threw a name on the sword, and because it was all fantasy and "dark themed," they called it the Necromancer. There are a bunch of random names thrown on products just to give them some added spice. Maybe if you were role-playing as a necromancer, this sword would work well for your costume? hehe |

Hey I kinda like that sword, but I would have to rename it, maybe a new grip, definitely replace the pommel.... Oh frig, why don't I just save up a sketch something completely new out, LOL  |

Well, there were fish taild pommels, so why not a squidtail pommel........

It's a necromancer because when you stab people with it they instantly turn to zombies, though they usually want revenge for be stabbed. Suffice to say it is not very a popular blade.

I see what you're talking about lol. The pommel looks like the head of a squid while the curled guard could be tentacles. That would be a neat picture...a sword with googly eyes glued on... |

Do Necromancers even carry swords? I thought they were like sorcerers...I don't like the guard or handle on that sword.
Capable of katana-like cuts...isn't that any sword with an edge to it? LOL @ that advertisement

oh lord. that is one of the uglier swords ive seen... and at that price you might as well get a decent musashi katana, ya know? if anyone buys that, they should definitely glue on the googly eyes and then post on this forum lol.

If I had the moeny I'd be tempted to. Maybe even add some tassels to the guard for the rest of the tentacles.
