I usually keep a lookout on the Scorpion page for anything new and I found this Strider knife. It looks pretty darn big and a lot meaner than the one made by UC.I like the looks of it the waist looks a bit thinner but the end curve looks wider and meaner.

Very cool piece. I might have to do one of these too I bet it could cut with that profile, but I'd run the bevel right to the spine on mine.

I bought an unlicensed Strider knife for $5.00 from some yard sale about a year ago.The pommel had unglued and come off but with the stand and the scabbard I figured it was worth it.It's a stainless piece but looks like the real one with the exception of a rat tail tang that screws down onto the handle and with a bit of glue and some polishing paste for the brass like pieces It looks pretty good.Thats whats missing on his the brass pommel actually now that i see it i like it better without it,plus the blade profile looks meaner.

That is a beautiful dagger that I would be proud to own.

That looks more like a machete than a knife to me ;D. I really like the wood choice for the grip and the elegant decorations on the blade. When I noticed that the blade gets a little thicker and wider at the end, it reminded me of a scimitar. I also don't really like to see the tang along the spine of the handle, but that's just a weird preference of mine

Hmm Eyal, i think that they make all their blade with 5160. I might be wrong.

All you got to do is click on the web page link i provided to see it,I'm into short swords lately so i dig most of his work especially at his prices. Cut and pasted from the Strider knive page. All are genuinely handmade from end to end. NOT Mass Produced. They are cut out of a high quality 5160 spring steel for the thicker steel & Saw Blade Steel for the thinner (3/16 & less).
