That's awesome. I'd go for it if I had the money.

You can get it cheaper on eBay...I've seen some lorica segmentata go for as low as $99 - my thinking is that they're all coming from the same place over in India. Some of the folks I've talked to found it to be ill-fitting and would pinch at the areas where the plates join.
I wonder at the quality too, given that the leather sub-armor listed blow goes for almost twice that, and even if the lorica weren't on sale, this leather armor would still cost more.
Taking a closer look, this one appears to be on par with what Windlass offers, but better than the cheaper models...you'd have to talk to one of the re-enactors on the forum; you might try Odingaard...it looks like he may be wearing a lorica in his avatar.

I've seen the e-bay ones and some of them seem not too bad. But this particular one is the Deepeka segmenta, which seems to be the favorate among re-enactors and the most historically accurate. They have a pretty big sale going on the site, which leads me to believe this is an awesome, awesome deal. If only i still had some money . . that'd be a awesome deal too
