Well My wife told me to order the Achilles sword I have been wanting for my birthday coming up in August,so i did.Well it's not here yet it will ship out monday. However the colors and material I chose (even putting the scorpion on) came out so good it is now the Achilles sword pictured on his site, with the scabbard.I'll do a proper review when it gets here, cant wait to see how it cuts and handles. Sorry but i'm pretty stoked/amused it was put on his web page.

I'll tell you Chris at Scorpion has got to be a good guy to put up with my numerous emails trying to figure out what wood (he gave me several choices) and what color to use on the handle.I also came up with the idea of putting the scorpion on the hilt.So far just by the pictures I think it looks good and obviously cant wait to get it. What a surprise when he emailed me saying he thought it came out so well that he would like to use it as the Achilles pictures for his web site.

It is pretty awesome... the only sad thing is the way it fits in the scabbard looks a bit sloppy. It dosn't fit to the guard, leaves a big chunk of the blade out... looks like if you turn it upside down ti will fall right out. The blade itself, and the grip, beautiful. This is one of his peices that I really like and am tempted to get when I get some cash.

Ok, so I'm not much a fan of the fuller because from my research it isn't accurate to the supposed time period. I love the blade and the wood of the handle and sheath is dead sexy, the only change I would make would be to have the scabbard with a shape to match the handle so that they slot together perfectly. apart from that it is one of the best swords I have seen of this type.
Chris: you do stunning work mate

I wasn't concerned about historical accuracy i just really liked the movie "Troy" and have liked the sword since,it's a great copy of the sword from the movie. Hard to say anything much about the sword or sheath I dont have it yet I'm hoping Wendsday or Thursday. But I am digging the pictures he put on his site and think it's pretty cool he used my sword for them. I'll try to do a proper review when it arrives and i've had time to murder some milk jugs.

I am amazed at the low price for such a beautiful hand made sword.
Post some pictures when you get it.

Yea I think his prices are pretty low (Lets not tell him) if his quality is a good as it seems.Especially being able to chose materials and colors for hilts and different engravings you could customize your sword to be different from any other one.I'll let you all know how my Achilles turns out when it gets here.

That is really neat! Congratulations on the gift! The scabbard looks pretty thick (could be the angle of the photos though). Beautiful wood choice!Troy was a pretty good movie...
