I'm assuming your not talking about perminatly mounthing the tsuka to the nakago.
I would suggest wrapping the nakago in 3 or 4 layers of plastic wrap then placing a good amount of eboxy on the nakago and in the tsuka.
WARNING!!!!! with the mekugi out the eboxy could leak out of the mekugi ana. i suggest rolling up some paper or to stuff in the holes. paper works great cause you can just tear it out if need be.

Thanks... I am trying to figure out how to coat the ito with resin, so it wont loosen or come apart. I think that has been mentioned before here ?

if the ito is wrapped properly it should never move. your musashi's ito is prolly pretty lose. I would suggest just retying it.

I've been using my Hanwei Bushido Katana for 6 years and it has not loosened at all. but perhaps I should refrase my statement. Epoxy may not be the best way to keep the ito from moving if its already loose. I would suggest retying it. if you dont want to risk retying, mail it to me and I'll do it for you. it'll only cost you about 17$ for new ito. + shipping just the tsuka.
