I am posting this here instead of the General discussion forum because this post concerns mainly Medieval type swords. We have started a forum in advance of the launch of The Custom Sword Shoppe. (And yes I checked with Paul before posting this.) He even said he would posting some on our forum. Anyway, the forum will be different than most. It is dedicated almost exclusively to Customized Production as well Custom made swords. Custom leather will play a big roll as well. I invite any makers and artist on this forum to post and discuss the details and techniques they use or just show off your warez. Of course any fans of Medieval swords are invited to participate as well. As a way of sweetening the pot, to use a poker term, we are going to hold a drawing at the end of August. The winner will get to choose any of the available custom option for Valiant Armoury AT303S Gus Trim Arming Sword. All you have to do to be eligible is register on the site and occasionally contribute a comment here or there. We hope that Tinker, Olszowy, Brian K and anyone else interested in posting their custom work will participate on the forum. It kinda light now but we expect a considerable amount of growth. Here's a link to the forum here: valiant-armoury.com/forum/When you sign up you must wait for authentication. The site is already been spammed by some very irritating Russian Spammers Anyway, Looking forward to seeing you over there as well as here. We will alway have a presence on SBG. Thanks, Sonny Valiant Armoury and Soon... The Custom Sword Shoppe

how about if youve never made a sword in your life but you love drawing and designing stuff ? (though I might add most of the swords Ive ever drawn are usually not particularly historical..)

The new forum looks good. I just signed up and had a look around.
I like the area for the Signature line and added a post to the Hedemark thread.

You guys have been approved. Thanks for joining. We're up to 57 members in our short forum history. ;D ;D ;D A one in 57 chance to win a Customized VA Atrim 303S. Pretty good odds if you ask me. In a few days I will be leaving for vacation. Oddly this will increase the amount of time I might be able to spend on the Forums. Fell free to add any Custom projects you guys know about and if you know some makers who might like their own section let me know. Sonny
