Haha this description is hilarious ;D "Be aware that both of the 440 turned stainless steel blades are razor sharp and caution is advised. Both blades extend all the way through the handle forming a unique double full tang sword. While this is a very solid piece it is for display purposes only and the functionality of this sword is still untested."
"A unique tang" haha But still it's is a very pretty sword in my opinion

I actually bought this as a wall hanger. Although, technically, I would be afraid to put something this heavy on a wall lol. I built a wooden replica with close to the same dimensions. It's easier (though still bulky) to wield and light enough to where the blade won't snap. It's not finished yet and has taken a lot of time to get right (my neighborhood probably wouldn't appreciate wood flying everywhere ). Just a thought if you like woodworking. I'll post a pic eventually when I get it done.

Bless you! Thank goodness! We're seriously running out of websites to buy wallhangers. I was worried for a minute.

What you can't handle the word semprini? Its not like i swore at you or anything. Lighten up a bit god. Again for the third time i was affended when you said that it was crap when i strongly beleive that it is not. It is a REPLICA not a " I'm going to cut your head off sword" ( Well then again if you could swing it I think you take someones head clean off). I just thought I should ask... If you cannot handle another person criticizing another's (Not even yours) work why should he handle being called a semprini? Not trying to start an argument, but food for thought.

Okay. I was hoping he would argue with me via PM to be honest. I am full of stress and that comment angered me.

Hey I actually bought this sword about two summers ago. Ive always been a big fan of the final fantasy series and really wanted this sword. I knew full well going into this "venture" that I wouldn't be getting anything truly practical. I bought mine from TrueSwords, who worked freakin great with me. Ill explain that later. Anyway, so the sword arrived and damn, it was a beast. I work out regularly and am in great shape, and it was still tough to try in swing. Yes, I did swing it around. However, I went out in a field, far from people so as to make sure it didn't fly outta my hand and take off a leg. So there I am swinging this monster around when suddenly, WHOOSH, it flys OUT of the handle. After standing in shock and then going and picking up the blade, I find out that It had been held in the handle by GLUE!! THe square hilt part on top was empty, and the "full tang" was just another piece of metal welded too the blade.. So I took it in and showed dad. He was kinda suprised as well that it'd only be held in by glue. Anyway, we call TrueSwords back explain the situation and send them pictures. We hear back within a day, which really impressed me, and even more so, because they said that they would refund 100 dollars that I bought the sword for. And they said that I could keep it, as they weren't gonna do anything with it. My dad is a shop teacher, and after collaberating with him we ended up deciding to see if there was anything we could do to make this "functional" ( I use that term loosely.) Eventually we decided that we'd supplement our own parts. We shaped some pieces of wood to fit into the hilt, and then drilled holes in the handle and box-part. Two in the handle and three on the top. Ill provide pictures next time im home. It made it a bit sturdier and a little more "usable." I can swing it and itll cut up, (or bludgion up) just about anything. However, it is stainless steel and its still a beast to use. Its a little better than it was originally, but in terms of cutting power and overall usability, nowhere near a realistic sword. Hope that helps, if you have anymore questions about it though, id be glad to answer. It may be a wallhanger, but its one of my favorite swords. ;D
