Wish I could have come too. Is it just me or do the cutting stands look a little too close together?

Wish I could have come too. Is it just me or do the cutting stands look a little too close together? They are 8 to 10 feet apart. There will only be one person at a time in the cutting arena. Each person will have a combination of tatami, beach mats and bottles/jugs to cut during his turn in the arena, and the cutters will rotate through until the targets have been depleted. ;D

I would love to be there but there is an awful lot of salt water between here and Canada. Carbon steel and salt water are not friends and the only way I have of getting there for now is to swim. And if I could go my girlfriend would get a little upset that I went to see this and not see her as she is in Toronto at the moment. Looks like you are going to have a fun weekend so please post lots of photos after. Peace

I do trust there will be HOURS of video footage, complete with introductions by forum names, from this, so I am content with this much.

Wow that looks like it will be a great time,is this the first annual or has it been done before? I have been to one cutting party and their were about 12 to 15 people there. What a great time and being a newbie to cutting I received a lot of help and advise on cutting from the nicest people.I cant make it with the distance and economy but I would love to see pics or video.
