My $$ goes to Brenno!! I'm not sure anymore really...I keep buying and now I have quite a few, but still want just one more...and one more..and I'm thinking of a Kensei right now. I should stop coming to this forum.

I save up a bit each fortnight until I have the amount I need and then I pay outright as I hate to owe anybody anything and layaway and such is just far too dangerous for me.

What's dangerous about lay-away? You put about 10% down on an item and then make payments until paid in full. You don't get the item in question until you're done paying for it.

lay-away for me is out of sight out of mind, when that is the case I tend to forget and spend the money on something else and then I get a reminder and I don't have the money cause I spent it on something else. I also buy my blades from Bren and I'd rather not stuff him around (granted I've only bought one blade but still Bren is a mate and last thing I am going to do is stuff a mate around).

Good point, that's why I recently had to cancel an order with Bren, I don't want my bad luck to screw him over.

mmmm I'm not too keen on borrowing money, especially in this economic climate. I like to keep things simple. Next on my list is either a Hanwei/Tinker Longsword or VA/Atrim Practical Longsword. Should be ordering in the next couple of months ;D.

borrowing money = bad! If I don't have it then I wasn't supposed to buy whatever it is that caught my eye. I also don't like credit cards as they are evil and get you into hot water. Owing anything in this economic climate is far too risky.

I think credit cards should have been an item on the poll, along with tax refunds. Thank you, American Express Living large with a credit limit increase . I think I have had enough retail therapy this year and I am going to start slowing down on the sword buying for a while...Just maybe that Windlass Wheel of Time Heron Mark sword, and that Hanwei Tinker Type XIIIa due in September...I still am behind on sharpening the new arrivals, does this mean I am buying new swords too fast
