Thought I would share with everyone my throwing knives, hawks, hatchets and other throwing devices.
First up are my Old Hickory Double Edge Sticker knives. These are the cheapest throwing knives I have, I paid about $7.00 each. The handles do come off, the reason for the duck tape and the para-cord wrap on the first one. They do throw well for me at least
Cold Steel Prefect Balance throwers (discontinued). Again the handles break off easy. I took the handles off and glued them to the tang. These are heavy knives that penetrate deep into the target. I use these mainly for long range throwing, throwing by the handle. They have a good edge which chops well. Wouldn't want to thrust with them since there's no hilt.
SKS spike bayonets a fun cheap thrower. Got my from Cheaper Than Dirt in a 10 pack came out under $3.00 each
Cold Steel GI Tantos top, Cold Steel Shanghai Shadow bottom these a good thrower and a combat at a low price.
Cold Steel Frontier Hawks
Cold Steel Trail Hawks top Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawks bottom
Cold Steel Viking Hawks top Chinese hatchets that look like the one's used in Kill Bill 1
Cold Steel Sure Strike throwing stars, these are the large heavy thick stars. Even with a easy throw they penetrate deep into the target. With a hard throw they are hard to remove from the target. I've had to use a piece of 2X4 to knock them lose
As you can see I like Cold Steel Also I got most of them on sale at a real good price.
These are my main thrower I do have some other knives I have used.
