Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find a sword for my sister to learn to use. She's small and quick and has a preference for a cutlass. Problem is, most cutlasses available online are right-hand oriented and she's left-handed (which will make her even harder to defend against).
Anyone know of any left-hand oriented or ambidextrous hilted cutlass? Preferably ones that weigh in at 2 lbs 4 oz or less?
Thanks all.

Thanks everyone. I like the look of both the Revolutionary hanger and the Captain hanger. This will take some consideration.

ramsay318, I think both are good choices. Unfortunately, I can't read well enough to notice the difference between the word "cutlass" and "saber". My apologies! I do like that Pirate Captain Hanger though.

I happened to wander through some other pages and since I was thinking of this thread, figured I would leave another download site for the USN 1869 and 1906 manuals. www.navyandmarine.org/cutlassmanual/Cheers Hotspur; strange, I ended up there while pursuing Elizabethan London

I've got that windlass pirate's hanger. It's a nifty little sword--light and quick with a short pob (mine's at about 2 inches from the guard but mine's sharp).
Hey, 'spur those manuals are great! Thanks for posting them.
