I know a while back someone mentioned how the James Williams video, discussing the Raptor swords, talks about 5 models including a tanto and wak. Just came across this on the Wiwingti site. www.wiwingtiswordsupply.com/hanweicommingsoon.htmlKogarasu Maru Zukuri Nambokucho Tanto Wakizashi

Is the nambokucho just an o-kissaki katana? Or am I missing something really obvious?

OK, not at home and my knowledge of the evolution of the sword through history is sketchy without having access to references, but Id say that the sword is representative (note I didnt say historically perfect, so no arguments ) of the nanbakucho period. Which explains the Okissaki..
