I REALLY want to come. I would like to meet a lot of the members of this forum and cut some stuff too. I am hoping I can make it.

Will I have any problems crossing the border with my swords? I may ride up on the harley and make a real vacation of it, otherwise I'll try to find a few more people from this area to carpool up.

I will come with at least one friend. Greypilgrim ; I think the best way to carry swords in a car is to tuck them in a gun case or roll them and tie them in a old pair of jeans. In other words, store and carry them in something that will be hard to open quickly. Also, I'd personnaly declare to the border guards that I carry edged weapons, to avoid looking like someone trying to sneak these to Canada. But, that's what I would do, take it with a grain of salt ... Wiwingti : Can't wait to see, touch, maybe even try out, some of your swords

I've got work on the weekends now, so it's incredibly unlikely I'd be able to attend, definitely take a ton of pictures though

But, that's what I would do, take it with a grain of salt ... This is the way to do it. As long as you don't have a criminal record (which will prevent you from crossing the boarder in most cases anyway) there is no law prohibiting bringing swords across the boarder. Just have them stored safely out of arms reach, and make them and the reason they are with you known to the guards at the checkpoint, and you should be aces.
