ITS JUNE ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
half way through the year
....ALREADY....wow
for like the last 6 months ive been eagarly awaiting good ol' june
at the start of the year i got my name on the justice armory's waiting list.... buuttt i think i'll save that story.... not long now..... ;D
but now i am double happy its june! a good few weeks ago now a MAS sunflower popped up on the SFI classifieds from a guy in europe, i held off, and i held off sumore, but eventually i caved n mailed him....
initially he wanted 550euros which is about 500quid (then id have to deal with postage customs import tax vat etc etc) but it turns out hes making a trip to the uk in june !!!
i just got a one thousand seven hundred and fifty dollar.... i'll say that again, a seventeen hundred n fiddy dollar.... ok one last time, a $1750, mas L6 high performance shobu...
for £400 flat.
no currency exchange no postage no her madjesty's royal customs and excise wankers fees
if i said i had a big grin, it would be an understatement.

to put it into perspective;
£400 could get me two tenchis, or a kaze and a mokko,
£400 could NOT EVEN get me a mid range $500 hanwei.
or £400 could get me one hell of a sweet shobu outa the classifieds.
im torn between excitements....thunderhorse...sunflower...thunderhorse...sunflower.... (ie...beauty...beast...beauty...beast...)
i actually dont have the capacity to be 200% excited.... i feel like im pushing it now at 160% excitement....

Nice buy there Kenpachi. I was eyeing that one for a while too. Was that the one with Competition Geometry?

Now THAT is quite a feat!!! I've "known" Aaron a few years now, and was politely turned down on some work on this sword last year....

If I said that was the ugliest sword I ever laid eyes on, I'd be lying through my teeth. AWESOME pick up- at a huge discount at that. We should all be so lucky; congrats and enjoy.

AWESOME UPDATE the sunflower is now in the country Just don't go attacking any cops with it or anything like your countrymen seem to like to do... What *IS* it with you guys anyway? Seems every other time I watch 'Worlds Dumbest Criminals' or some such, there is a guy in the UK attacking someone with a Katana... whats that about? ;D
