Well,... it looks like the global recession has claimed another victim...
Shadow of Leaves is going out of business, and he will be selling off what remaining merchandise he has, and then that's it...
After over a decade of service, Its a damn shame...
Mr. Crampton, i am sorry to see this happen... But i am sure the community salutes you for the work you've done these past years.
Good Luck to you Sir....

I'm sorry to hear about the impending closure. He had some extremely good prices on Citadel katana, and hard to find Japanese import items the last time I looked. It may be time for anyone who's been sitting on the sidelines to pick something up.

Mike is a true gentleman, always took excellent care of his customers and this really is a terrible loss to the Japanese sword enthusiast community... Very sad to hear this news.

I wish I had money to buy some of his stock off him to help out! This is a shame he has to close!

Man, that sucks. I haven't bought anything from SOL, but wanted to in the near future so I suppose now's the last chance :/ .
Good luck Mr. Crampton.

Really, really sad. For international buyers there's really no better alternative for sword making supplies. I've left a lot of dollars there lately, and hoped he would stick around a little longer. Always superb service and with free shipping on small orders. Mike holds my highest regards as a dealer, and I hope a lot of you will help him out liquidate the rest of his stuff. I know I will put in a large order now.

I have talked with Mike, and it sounds like he is personally ready to let it go and move on. It is sad news to me, though, as I sourced almost all of my general sword supplies from SOL because of the wonderful service, selection, and prices.

That is sad news. Mr Crampton was a great vendor and I am pleased that I was able to deal with SOL a few times. I would recommend that anyone take a look while he still has stock available.

Wow that's really too bad, sorry to hear of a quality vendor leaving the market. It's a blow to them as business folks as well as the community.

Bummer... I have plans to alter some of my katana later on down the line... and I was going to get pretty much everything from Shadow of Leaves. I've never heard a single person with a bad thing to say about the service... and THAT is hard to do.
