Hey guys, I was browsing through ebay today and I just discover some old daggers from Africa, and Southeast Asia up for auction. Here's the link: shop.ebay.com/merchant/artotecThe question is: Are these really real antiques? I know it is hard to get good deals on ebay. So just asking.

Thanks for the info Judging from the fittings on some of the knives and its shipping cost, the seller is legit and some blade may be authentic. Still I would not consider them as antique cuz they look fairly recent. (Mid to late 20th century?) Still if anyone is interested, there is still about a day left before the bidding is closed.

Yes, Artotec is legit. Don't expect too many el-cheapo deals, he's well known to the antique/ethnographic community, and his auctions get a lot of bidders competing at the last few minutes.

How does he show/certify that they are antiques? They come with a CoA?
