I just received a Musashi damascus DH sword. I got it for a very good deal but it had some light staining from someone touching the blade. So I polished out the blade and I would like to enhance the damascus pattern. How should I go about it? I would certainly appreciate any help. Thanks

There are several ways to enhance the paterns.
Drastic is acid but works well.
More subtle is vinegar or boiled vinegar. But watch out that the blade doesn't get hotter then 80 celcius otherwise you'll damage your tempering.
cutting a lemon and smear it along the blade is also possible.
Did you make a review already?

What would the manufacturer use to bring out the pattern? Which type of acid? No I have not done any reviews. It seems to be an older discontinued model but in excellent condition except for the staining and a few lite scratches to the finish. very sharp, lite, tight wrap, and the furniture seems nicer than most. It looks exactly like this one but is DH as well. www.musashiswords.com/shop/product.php?productid=17&cat=24&page=1
