Man, This is so fake it disgusts me. A) The Kissaki looks like it has been shapen by a three year old with a chainsaw. Terrible. B) This damascus look shouldn't even be on Japanese swords. It doesn't belong there. In Nihonto, as a rule to go off, subtle is beautiful. C) That Tsuba is so horribly made and the fake patina is also painful. D) The Saya has ornaments that shouldn't even be here. Period. All in all, avoid this like the plague - or Swine flu, I should say Thanks, -Tajima

Without doubt a fake. By far the ugliest fake I have seen on ebay too ( I would like to see an uglier one just for fun though).
An "authentic" blade selling 10 times cheaper than a Cheness? Really? An genuine authentic "ninhoto" should sell about 100 times the price one would pay for a brand new Cheness.

Do not buy. Avoid like the plague! I don't know why they sell and make this crap. Their time and money would better spent making new katana's.

Thanks for the input. I thought if the blade was halfway decent I could restore it into something semi nice. Was going for 25 bucks so would've been a bargain if that was the case.
