I realize that most of these cuts could have had x amount of takes to succeed, but i still think its pretty cool. also i love japanese television...

that modern samurai show was cool. "high-speed-o-camera" "asparagas" i love it lol theres a bunch of em www.youtube.com/user/syuushinryuuthats machiis youtube page, these vids are gathered in his favourites. i reccomend his own videos though.

Am I the only skeptic here about the iron cutting part? the pipe or the sheet? the pipe is very doable on an oroshi cut the sheet is very thin.... also, look closely at the sword used to cut the metal, (im guessing) its a purpose built monster blade! certainly not his regular shinken.

all i can explain is that he just chops down really really hard
the slow motion video shows the pipe start to dent, then the sword cuts into it
honestly i found the metal cuts to be the least impressive, but thats not to say they arent good cuts...
