Does any one know where I can get really really good tiger hook swords? Like that can cut through a couple tatami mats? Im willing to go up to $250. if you could list a couple of the best one that would be great.

maybe garret could make some. all ive seen arent functional To my knowledge, enlightmentswords may be functional because it is made of high carbon steel (ask them if they are properly tempered) unlike most found below $100 which is most likely made of stainless steel. Sterling armory usually makes stage steels sword but they have pretty good reputation of making decent ones. At this time Jin-Shi did not advertise tiger hook sword but he may offer it eventually. His website is pretty minimal, but from my personal experience, he has exceptional customer service. The swords he offered (so far) are much better than any other Chinese swords below $500 range. @ vikinglord13 you can contact him at this website: jin-shi.com/contact.htmHope that helps

The enlightenmentswords tigerhooks are $240 AUD but he currently has none in stock. They are differentially hardened and heat treated. They are the hardest swords in the chinese arsenal to learn besides the jian.
