Check the SFI classifieds, there's a JS leafblade for sale at around $650 shipped. Man I wish I could grab this beauty... -Slayer

I've seen that one... thought about buying it too. It looks cool, but it doesn't look like it would be very well balanced to USE. I almost bought it just because it's a Jody Samson blade... but I try to follow a rule with my collection that, if I won't use it, I won't own it... and I don't think I'd use that.

^Very true, Shadow... Maybe you could PM the guy and find out the POB? Hmm... I just thought of something. How would a JS do as an investment piece? -Slayer

If SFI would actually approve the registration I have had pending with them numerous times over the last 3 years, I'd might PM this guy and take this off his hands. Unfortunately, even after several emails - I still can't get a user account to post or write PMs.

I got the info from another friend on SFI already. I have an email inbound to him now. Master293: What is the simple reason? I can't even get them to respond to my emails.

Are you making sure to use your real name on SFI? They won't let you if you don't use your real name as your ID.

I have done everything SFI has ever asked, so of course I have used my real name, not a handle/nick. Face it, if their site is too much for them to keep up with and offer decent forum management; get more mods or turn it over to someone else - like me. ;D Anyway, still waiting on a response concerning the JS.

I almost bought it just because it's a Jody Samson blade... but I try to follow a rule with my collection that, if I won't use it, I won't own it... and I don't think I'd use that. Agreed. Its a nice looking blade but if I bought it, it'd been because it was a JS blade and no other reason. It isn't one I'd consider on my own if I had no idea who made it or anything about it. Odingaard- funny you should be having this problem as I've noticed a dearth of activity of late. I myself had been missing some 6 months or so (might be longer) but when I went back on, very little in the way of posts had been done. Almost like a ghost town- but then it is pretty prohibitive over there. Just my HO. Edited to add: Slayer, I noticed you have your Verneuil up for sale- what don't you like about it, why sell it? I thought you liked it.

I *DO* like it; quite a bit, actually. The thing is, I like Fableblades more. ;D It's really just evolution of the sword-buyer's hobby, you know? It's a really nice sword, and I'm quite glad I got it. I learned alot with Verneuil, both about sword-usage and the sword market. However, I'm moving on and letting my sharp-and-pointy friend find a new home. I actually have someone who just PMed me a few hours ago who looks like they want to buy. A friendly guy by the name of Yan... Wish me luck! ;D -Slayer

Awww... Now you've gotten me feeling all fuzzy inside... ;D thanks, though. I think it's a done deal. I'm about to go look up FedEx shipping rates, then I'll shoot him a PM. -Slayer
