Ok... There's so many great artists and smiths out there that it took me a while to convince myself i could to post something. Those are first draft designs and only one of them ( Ego Memor by Christian Fletcher ) has been finalized into an actual piece. All the designs i'm posting ( and those to come ) are possible custom commissions i would like to submit in the upcomming months/years to the many different talented smiths that regularly post here in SBG. So i would like to hear from them But lacking any real blacksmith formation i would really like to know what you guys think, and what could be done to A-make them actually doable B-Taking a more historically believable approch C-Having better aesthetics so.. here we go !

I highly doubt that this blackening was a residue from the heat treatment ( i saw what it looked like from one of your work.. awesome effect by the way Bren ! ), it really doesnt have the same overall effect at all. I'm quite sure that CF used some chemical to do the fullers.

I feel ya. Only your first image is loading (Xsiil Arath) for me, but I like is aesthetics. And considering that I tend to only shrug at fantasy-ish designs that says a lot. Hope you get it made--I'd love to see a picture of a real life version.

the warmonger is a nice design, I could happily have that one in my collection, the handle is unique but I'm not sure how comfortable it would be.

If so you would have to be 7ft tall and 400lbs of muscle to use it. Also you blade would droop. For a usable fantasy sword your design looks fine to me.
