Okay got my Tinker Viking (review to come) and spearhead ........ the blade is solid, and you could sharpen it well and have it well functional, BUT ....... where the polished blade and engraved throat connect its just been folded around, hasnt even been welded, while the steel is tough and this would hold up to alot of punishment it wont last a lifetime ........ so this spear as against a windlass one thats forged from one piece would be like comparing a 1045 katana to a 1095 or tenchi ....... the 1045 will give you good service, but wont stand up to a lifetime of abuse ....... just my 2 cents, when I mount and sharpen it ill give a review
