Ally never came back, did she? Ahh well...I was hoping she'd have a succinct rebuttal- just so I'd have an excuse to buy that sword! I'll take Odingaard's word that it is NOT a good, decent sword for the money.
One better not show up in his armory tho! lol

now ally or anyone from m.r.l. I get what odingaard is saying we as a forum just want more info then whats in the catolog if you have on hand these swords(and various weapons) please share with us maybe better pictures list the weight ,pob ,cop take a leson from eyal at dark sword armoury .... don't be discourged by this the forums here and else where can be a valued tool advertising but you're not speaking to the uninitiated so bring your A-game folks

I did not want to come off as rude; I was so forthright with Ally because she must learn in order to gain respect from the sword community, she must absolutely know her products well - and should know them better than we do. She is trying to sell us her products, and we must be convinced that she is not just tossing a sales pitch, especially in this economy where people are very selective in their sword buying because the insane competition going on right now. Museum Replicas should have had Bruce Brookhart (a close friend of Hank Reinhardt's) join the forums; if he still works for them. He would be more along the lines of the guy we would want to talk to and much more knowledgable in matters of the blade. The next time I go to the MRL Closeout, Ally will probably decapitate me with a Blacksword and post pictures here...  |
