Well, if you guys need a tameshigiri fix, there is another young man who is doing very well. His name is Luka and he is from Croatia.
Some of you may have already seen him but for those that haven't.......

Yeah Luka's a great 'cutter' but he's not traditionally trained, he learns from books. I don't know, I've been watching his videos for a while now and I kind of grow tired of them, it doesn't seem like he ever really changes up his game at all.

Kris is in fact traditionally trained in JSA. from what I understand he trained in JSA and then for whatever the reason took a hiatus and has only recently began training again. I am part of his group on youtube and for those who are wondering why he made it private, his reasoning is very sound. I have seen, and we all know of, the "arm chair experts" that think they know everything there is to know about JSA. They open their big yaps and say the most ignorant things which over time can be quite irritating. Kris decided to privatize his group so he could converse strictly with those people whos input has value. People in JSA who can give constructive points from an impartial standpoint. Kris is not trying to show off or say that he is the master of anything. He isn't trying to send a message that he is better than anyone else. He is putting his work on youtube to communicate with others in JSA around the country and no other reason. I don't know why people get all bent out of shape when something like this happens, why do some feel like they are entitled to watch just because it is posted on a huge forum? Boggles the mind. my .02 around the country & around the world. i agree 100% karma to you marabunta Yeah Luka's a great 'cutter' but he's not traditionally trained, he learns from books. I don't know, I've been watching his videos for a while now and I kind of grow tired of them, it doesn't seem like he ever really changes up his game at all. no bish. he just trys to perfect it.

Luka´s cutting is good...but his swordmanship is not. I keep seeing openings where I´m thinking but if I stab forward, he´s dead. I think that is the main reason for kris keeping his group private. You can be a great cutter...but that doesn´t mean your a great swordman...and he wants to talk about being a good swordman...not a good cutter.

I really like to watch kfkonrad cut. I wish he hadn't taken down so many of his vids. Especially his hammer noto vid - that was one of my favorites

hammer noto was awesome! not to hijack konrads thread (did someone actually start this thread off thinking that he was self taught ) even more, but for your viewing pleasure here is another very highly skilled swordsman;
