Hey Luna You got a real talent, how many of your designs have made it all the way to production, one looks very familiar to me the " bks leafblade", but any others ?

That depends on what point in time you're asking... Brenno of Fable Blades will make you any design you want and I have designs on no less than 4 of Luna's swords, possibly six if I change my mind about the Jian (not the rose) and Willow Leaf.

I like the scabbard you designed for, what I assume is, your BKS Leafblade. Did you order that from Sonny to be made? I look forward to seeing it... it has the metal locket the bristol was supposed to have, and I like that look.

Thanks a lot, guys! Yes it was for that sword, and yes indeed I did order it. It's actually complete according to Sonny and ready to ship, but the shop's all kinds of hectic and busy lately and this one's lower on the list than some more pressing priorities at the moment. I'm not at home now anyway to recieve it soon so there's no rush, but I too am excited to see what it'll look like.

Didn't see that leaf-blade scabbard design until now. I gotta say, I want one for myself now too. Oh, and I gotta start bugging Sonny about that metal locket again. I friggin' want one.

Nice Scabbard! I just made my first scabbard. It was a bit of a mind bender. Not as easy as one imagines. And nowhere near as nice as that one.

Yup, gorgeous scabbard. With a new grip the whole thing would look even better though.

Very, very nice John. My first thought on seeing these designs , give them to Odin forge and take the sword world by storm. Really like the leaf blades.

****UPDATE****There've been a lot of tactical swords 'round the forum lately, and coincidentally here's a new design I just finished--a Lunaman tactical! Shout-out to chenessfan for the genesis of this one; hopefully we'll see it rendered in live steel from his workshop soon.

Now that is one of the best looking tacticals I've ever seen, Luna. Damn fine job. It also reminds me of why I need to stop coming to this thread; I happen to like a few too many of your designs and I'm practically itching to have them made.

Thanks, Vincent! It was tough to put some personal style into it while keeping it very simple, and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Can't wait to see some more of my designs come to life.

Soon as I get some money coming in, your designs are actually a fairly high priority on my list; there's some production blades that I really want (and so I can get used to cutting with a relatively inexpensive sword), then there's my two personal designs (ones for my novels), and then your designs with Straven at the top of the list. And then your Swan Neck; I don't know what it is, but there's something about a hand-and-a-half/two-handed sword with a single handed basket that I just find really attractive.

Yay! New stuff! Very cool tactical. Do you envision the handle scales to be wood, or something more modern? I think it would be gorgeous with a blued-steel blade and a burgundy burlwood grip.

Zach, that is one tactical sword I could go for. For the most part I don't like tactical swords, so clearly you've done a great job with that design... as usual.

Yup, I'm VERY pleased with the design. Zach was also incredibly nice to wrok with. Can't wait to make this design come true. Will take some months though, I have some other swords to finish first. But it will be done, I'm quite sure of it. Not about the grip though... depends if I'm able to work with the material he envisions... not sure about wood. Needs to be slippery-proof...

The 19th one down is a bit suggestive, Can you tone it down for the children's sake at least?
