it looks to me like a easily concealable fighting tool. you put your index finger through the loop, and the tip would emerge from the bottom of your fist. To use it effectively you would fight with it like you are supposed to fight with brass knuckles, which is to bash the person with the underside of your fist. yes I'm 13, but I live in Ogden, UT, so ees okay, I need these skills am I right Quinn

The pin looks to flimsy and the whole thing to thin and small to be any sort of weapon... I don't know what it is, but I don't think it's designed for fighting.

Looks like something I'd find under an inmate's bunk back when I worked for the Department of Corrections in the early 1990s.

O.k people clue time, It is the Japanese equivalent to a flick-knife. The prices they sell for in Japan are quite high($US140), but I picked up this one for $US15.
It is great thing as I am a born 'fidgeter'. ;D
