I always wished I could draw. I draw like the bad substitute teacher trying to teach a lesson, with the stick figures.... Yeah. Maybe even worse.
Awesome designs bud, all of them are unique and interesting.

Cool, nice to see the use of scales in your drawing. Nice sketches. I like the Falchion. Alot of cool designs in this thread.

Thanks Brenno, I'm full of design ideas, It just sucks that I don't have the equipment or the material....or the skill to actually make my ideas.

I like your detail sketches. They give a very good feel for what the swords would really look like. I also like this design a lot.

A gladius with a long blade is a spatha, also some of your handles look rather thin if you are doing these to scale, unless your blades are really just that fat. I really like some of the crossguards and your drawing is great.

I really like some of the crossguards and your drawing is great. Thanks! most of the handles look smaller because I want more of a slightly rounded handle. The blades are for the most part about 2inches wide at the crossgaurd, the handles are about 1 1/2inches wide at its widest point. The one that everyone seems to like, Myself included. Its blade would be 2 3/8inches at widest, and the handle would be 1 1/4inch, the pommel would be the last 4 3/4inches of the handle and would be 1 3/4inches at its widest point. I hope this helps with your question about the sizes.

Nice! A novelty bread sword! I very much like the second one, it has Stagmer written all over it.

Agreed; this'd be right up BKS' alley. Kinda like that 'bread' sword...interesting look. A Middle Eastern flare at the end there, the 'flamberge' style blade and a ring hilt with a fantasy guard; I could see this in a video game.

I like the crystal fantasy one, that one is pretty interesting and I like your attention to detail for all your sketches. good work! I could see some of these being made commercially.
