I'm terrible with saving money. I've recently decided to save up money for a big move, and at the same time I'm saving up for a Rawblades daisho set (about $2500-$3000, before customization). So I've got a long road ahead of me. Maybe this can be the moral support thread for all of us penny savers.
"Today I almost dipped into my savings, guys... but I held strong!" "Good work, dude! Hang in there!"
"I bought a candy bar with my sword money yesterday, guys..." "SMITE"
You get the idea. Some good advice in this thread so far, I look forward to hearing more.

Good idea...but do you get a smite if you spend $$$ to make $$$? Now THERE is an intellectual debate for you!

Hmmm.. well, no, I suppose that's fine. Like, hey, I'm going to spend $20 and buy this (object), then sell (object) to (person) for $60.. as long as the $60 goes in your sword fund!!!!!
