HA ... i use teh same table for every review... I think it should be mandatory in order to get review points that you convert your measurements...for the ease of the people reading it. I mean, what's more difficult, you converting it one time and putting both english and metric in your review...allowing everyone else to read it in their regional style of measure, or you not converting it, and every single person that reads it that's NOT using your regional style of measure having to convert it themselves? I think it's a matter of simple common courtesy. And thanks Erick...no longer do I have to hit google in order to get a handle on what is what when reading the reviews posted by those that DON'T bother to convert them for us =). Cris

Ha, yeah I use that converter too! Funny, I was in high school here in Oz when the switchover happened, and I still think in this weird mishmash of imperial and metric. Eg, I do most lengths in metric, but height in imperial. When I'm cooking, I use metric weights, but I can only think of people's weights in imperial. Volumes I seem equally happy in either. For swords I tend to think purely in imperial measures- but maybe that's because most of the vendors and books I look at use that system. I agree that it'd be good if reviews showed both, as a matter of courtesy. That's been my plan if I ever get anything review-worthy Cheers Marc E

I love XKCD. Good to see another fan here.
I only know sword measurement in Inches... If they're converted to my native CM I get confused!
When Americans start talking in ounces I just glaze over: avoirdupois ounces, troy ounces, apothecaries' ounces, dutch metric ounces, chinese metric ounces, imperial fluid ounces, US customary fluid ounces, US food labeling fluid ounces....
How does anything ever get done?!
