Got my Tori in today! Love at first sight. I'd say Marc's review was spot on. Best sword in my collection. Congratulations... the whole package is nicely done

Yes the Higo is the same as the Dynasty Forge Bushi class swords. It is still a nice sword at a good price. I have another Dynasty forge sword. Also it's the same blade profile as the Tori elite maybe alittle thicker and not folded steel. It's a very solid with a good tight wrap. It was alot better deal than the Tori Elite. I can't believe more people on this forum didn't but them when they were on closeout sale, I got the last one. By the way it dose have the same fitting as the Dynasty Forge too. I look at this way I got a Dynasty forge Bushi sword for under $300.00.
I was dissappointed in the Tori Elite. It's a very solid and sharp The ito is where the problem comes in. It's not as tight as is should be. On my the ito is pieced togather, it's very obvious on my. I wouldn't expect this on a sword in this price range.

I am way happier with my Tori Elite than with any of the Dynasty Forge swords I've had... and I liked them....My ito is not pieced together, and seems to be "setting" the more I handle it...i'm happier with the wrap now than I was the day I got it, and that is not always the case....

Didn't say I was happier with the Higo over the Tori Elite just said it was a better deal. Actually I think they are equal, since they come from the same forge shouldn't they be. It might just be me to but the same on the Tori Elite looks fake, I know it isn't just dosen't look right.

For anyone who is interested, this sword is now on sale. It's brand new still, only thing I did was this review. Selling it to upgrade to a praying mantis L6 blade. It's posted in the classifieds.
