Hello for sale is an excellent condition deltin viking era sword with a type H hilt. i bought it a couple months ago from viking shield, they had got one in stock and i jumped on it sort of out of impulse but I have decided it is not for me. the specs on the sword, as far as i can tell, are the same as the specs given by deltin. i do not have a scale though so i cant confirm the weight. over all length 39.5" blade length 33" grip length 3.75" weight 3 lbs 8 oz pob 5.25" there are only two issues with the sword, the wood core of the grip will occasionally wiggle. i cant make it do this every time but when i received the sword and the weather was still very cold it would happen a lot more than it does now that things have warmed up so im assuming it was weather related (wood expanding and contracting). the other is it arrived with a very light brown tinge on the upper guard (pommel) where the meat of your hand contacts it. i wiped it down with ballistol immediately, there has been zero progression and i cannot even capture it on camera, it is just a light discoloration but i wanted to mention it.
$370 USD buyer pays shipping.
I will ship via Canada post, but if you would prefer UPS i can do that as well for extra. shipping to Canada and the continental United States (including Alaska) only.
payment. if you are in Canada then EMT is preferred. if you are in the US paypal would be easiest. thanks for looking guys.

Welcome to the forum! A picture with a piece of paper with your username and date will go a long way to foster trust with a new user. Even more so if you can include a pic of your sword and the post on a computer in the background. There has been an increase in scammer activity, so either or both of these steps will help your sale
Good luck with your sale!
