Yeah. They seem to fail at the screws. It's some kind of plastic composite.

There are enough people happy with those as well. I can't find the videos anymore but there are a few reports, could be just bad QC or bad luck, but it's around the last screw most of the time. They also fail quite suddenly, no propagating crack, just a sudden break. Of course this can always happen, but a wooden shaft is easier to replace I think. You'll find a few reports on the tomahawk, and I have seen a spear and Kama break as well. If I had one I would put a wrap around the shaft where the tang goes in to strengthen the connection.

Arms and Armor is my choice for spears They look really historically accurate/genuine. I really don't require historical accuracy for what I'm searching for, just something for the Zombies!! Or something cheap I'll struggle to break.
Thanks for the recommendation however they have some lovely looking spears!
