I've decided one sabre I would definitely like is is a 1934 Polish Sabre, the one that was used in 1939 at the start of WW2.
I guess there aren't many reproductions of these?

If you want the official, modern, ceremonial version of the famous szabla, there's this: allegrolokalnie.pl/oferta/szabla-polska-wz-76-90-wifamaThis is made by the Polish arms maker who makes them for the Polish army. It's about $1000 US though! Supposedly there are other ones, but none of them are cheap! I'd look for an antique one if you want it for looks, some other repro if you want to use it.

Thanks, yeah. Too rich for my blood.
I'd want something, somehow connected to me, or my interest. I'm Canadian by location of birth, but "pure-blood" Polish by ancestry and blood line, hell, my parents are both Polish, not to mention all my relatives down the line.
So a lot of British swords would do, at least pertaining to Canadian History, different Polish swords would suffice as well obviously, and I am interested in American history, especially the revolution, so something form that period would work as well.
Obviously pirates are cool, so a pirate sword would work as another option.
I see that Windlass does have a couple Pirate swords in the "short swords" section. However, I wasn't able to find any video reviews for them unfortunately on youtube.

I am aware, however after converting from Euro to CAD, it's out of my range, especially the extra $107 Euros for a sharp cutting blade.

To paraphrase Uhlan, there isn’t a cheap Polish anything.
Still, I wish you good hunting!

The only inexpensive Polish reproduction modern sabers are from Globalreplicas.com......and they don't appear to be anything but wallhangers. The only lower priced one of an older style (17th century) that I'm aware of is the Cold Steel Polish saber. Some people seem to cut well with it, but it feels quite heavy to me....I have one and have not tried cutting with it as of yet. I did check with a couple of the Polish makers, like szablapolska.com, but they are higher than your budget.
