Todd is correct - it's the same price as Albion charges online. There's a couple benefits to buying in person - no wait time, chance to try out multiple swords, and no shipping - but a discount is not one of them.

you can buy 6 and get one (of average price) free, isn't that enough of a discount?

alientude Do Albion offer event pricing like other vendors? Albion doesn't have to offer "event pricing" to sell/move product.

alientude Do Albion offer event pricing like other vendors? Albion doesn't have to offer "event pricing" to sell/move product. It was just a question. Because Gus does, Sonny does. Every other well known and respected maker does. So it was just a question to find out if it`s worth to drive to Las Vegas or just wait 2 years since I`ve never been in an event that Albion had a table.

I hate waiting...there is no benefit price wise to waiting or not waiting if the sword you want is at a table at an event. Sadly, there is no way to know what's there until the morning of the event.

You can always buy things you also don't plan to keep or sell to make some money back to earn your way to a discount too. Lol but yeah also requires having enough liquid in first place.

I think it's definitely worth it, because aside from the prices themselves. It really helps to see a lot of the different swords in person and being able to dry handle them and see how you feel about them from more than just photos online. Also the event themselves are just really fun, and there's other really cool sword makers that also will be there. Sterling Armoury for example has some really interesting stuff. The Albion table has a ton of swords as well. So there's going to be at least one or two swords you'll really like.

I have no control of my money and spending when it comes to swords and collectibles. Any event like that may end up, me spending too much, too quickly lol. Things I never considered, follow me home after events :)

Lol. Like the casino at the valley of the sun I tried that too. Then I went back home and withdraw cash twice until the end of it. Still better than gambling tho. I think I like Albion's wait time now. Will hurt less by deposit first and a piggy bank to put $50 every month when the time comes for delivery it is like savings account wihdrawal

This is pretty much what I do for long commissions - set aside the money in a high yield savings account so it earns a few bucks over the course of the commission.
