nice pieces everyone, greg love the albion vikings they are all sweet, the thegn is my personal favorite i think its so nimble, great pick up verity i think i started that commission and then it evolved when i traded it lol, really cool how it ended up, and the velvet really is a nice touch nathaniel i gotta get something like that formyself so its not just bare table lol Moving the Thegn around is like whipping around a twig. Very light and easy to put the cut where you want it quickly for sure. The Stamford has more presence to it, but nimble enough (not Thegn nimble).

picked up James Elmslie's Kirpichnikov type IV white bronze mace today, still deciding do i want a clean crisp geometric cast or more rugged textured cast for the mace head, will decide once they are cast in 2 weeks, one would be more pleasing to the modern eye and one more historically accurate mace in picture is the shaft with the master mold

I was sorely tempted to buy that when he posted it on Facebook. Congrats stormmaster, it's a beautiful mace!

I'm not a big fan of pattern welding, but holy crap, the level of skill and artistry there is incredible.

Brother: That's a Nice Barbute! including the coif( or aventail?) I Cant tell from this angle. the Additional Protective bars seem protective and rather attractive being strategically placed it would seem( though somewhat A-historical I believe)- nothing wrong with that though:) a cool piece

I got JKOO'd. This is probably the worst katana I've bought. Bent tip, gap between the mune-machi and habaki, crazy rattle in the saya. Will be interesting to see what JKOO's customer service has to say to my complaint.
Edit: JKOO paid to have me ship it back to them so they could replace it. I got them to confirm that if Chinese Customs confiscates it, they'll bear the loss.

Bent tip seems to be a common recurrence with JKOO (also happened to me), dunno what is happening there, probably a worker further along the line with a bad work habit/method.

Absolutely love my Balaur 15th C. Arming Sword. It's probably my favorite sword out of all I own.
